Query Express (Qx) is an application for fast deployment of database queries and reports throughout your organization. It is a complete Web Portal which includes navigation of on-line report libraries and customer-supplied documentation. Qx gives your users immediate access to all of your organization's database sources using a library of reports located on a central server.

As a pure web-based solution, the only client software required is your Internet browser. There are no applets, plug-ins, or special client software required! The Qx application, reports, database protocols and security are located on your central IIS or Apache Web-server. Publishing new reports to the central library is a single-step process, making them instantly available to the user community.

This site is running the same Query Express data portal that you would install in your organization. The best place to understand what it can do is to run the sample reports as if you were an end-user. These reports are created live, pulling data from one of three sample databases. Live Query Express Demo

This website contains a live Query Express environment with access to data on Oracle 8i databases. It includes a sample Human Resources database and a sample Order Entry database with several demonstration reports in the Qx Library. It also includes a News Feed database that is continuously updated from live sources on the Internet.

You are free to view the reports to familiarize yourself with Query Express or you can browse the data for yourself. You are also encouraged to explore the data models and create your own Query Express reports by adding them to the Library where yourself and others can easily retrieve it.
